In short
- This site has no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking.
- Your details are used only when you choose to write or book a call, and only to reply to you or arrange the call.
- Nothing is sold or used for marketing. A few service providers help run the site (listed in section 5).
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
01Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Shivam Verma, an individual based in Madrid, Spain, who runs this website (shivamverma.uk) as his professional profile.
For anything about your data, email hello@shivamverma.uk, use the contact form, or reply to any email you have received from him. There is no data protection officer, as none is required.
02What this notice covers
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit shivamverma.uk, send a message through the contact form or to its email address, or book a call through the booking page (shivamverma.uk/meet). It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain’s data protection law (LOPDGDD).
03What is collected, why, and for how long
You do not have to give any of this information, but without a name and an email address a message cannot be answered and a call cannot be booked. No decisions about you are made automatically, and no profile of you is built.
04Cookies and similar technologies
The public pages of this site (the home page, booking page and these legal pages) set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking pixels. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, so visiting it does not tell any font or image service about you. The airflow simulation runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
A private part of the site, used only by its owner, sets one strictly necessary sign-in cookie. It is never set for visitors.
06International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there. Where a provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, transfers rely on that framework; otherwise they rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses included in the provider’s data processing terms.
07Your rights
You can ask, free of charge, to:
- See the personal data held about you and get a copy
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Restrict how it is used
- Object to uses based on legitimate interests
- Receive your data in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email hello@shivamverma.uk or use the contact form. You will get an answer within one month. You may be asked to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address you used.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid; aepd.es), or to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
08Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Messages and bookings are stored on a private server that only Shivam can open, protected by a password, and nothing is shown publicly. Spam and deleted messages are removed automatically after 30 days, and everything else is deleted on the schedule in section 3.
09Children
This site is meant for professionals and is not directed at children. Please do not send messages or book calls if you are under 14.
10Google user data
The private part of this site reads and updates the owner’s own Google Calendar, only to keep the booking page free of clashes and to create the meetings people book. That data stays on the site’s private server, is not shared with anyone and is used for nothing else. Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
11Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version will be published here with a new date at the top. Significant changes affecting people with an open conversation or booking will be pointed out to them directly.
