01About this website

shivamverma.uk is the professional website of Shivam Verma, an individual based in Madrid, Spain (the “owner”). It presents his experience and the engineering projects he takes on, and lets visitors send a message or book a call. These terms, together with the privacy notice, apply to anyone using the site. By using it, you accept them.

02Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes only. Please do not:

• send spam, advertising or bulk messages through the contact form or the booking page
• make bookings in someone else’s name, or false or repeated bookings
• try to get into the private parts of the site, test its security without permission, or disrupt it
• copy content from the site in bulk, or collect information from it automatically

Messages or bookings that break these rules may be ignored or removed.

03Booking a call

Calls are free. A booking reserves a time and sends you a calendar invitation; it does not create a contract or any obligation to work together. You can move or cancel your booking with the link in your invitation. The owner may also need to move or cancel a call, and will let you know by email.

Please do not share confidential or commercially sensitive information before a call. If it is needed, a confidentiality agreement can be put in place first.

04Consulting work

Descriptions of services on this site are not an offer that can be accepted online. Any paid work is agreed in a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, timing, confidentiality and intellectual property, and that agreement takes precedence over anything on this site.

05Information on the site

The experience, results and qualifications described are accurate to the best of the owner’s knowledge and are kept up to date. Figures describe the outcome of work done with teams at the organisations named.

Content on the site is general information, not professional, engineering or financial advice. The airflow simulation is an illustration based on an ideal-flow model and must not be used for design decisions.

The text, design, photographs, simulation and code of this site are © Shivam Verma unless stated otherwise. You may share links to the site and quote short extracts with attribution. Any other use needs written permission.

Names and trademarks of other companies, such as those of former employers and their customers, belong to their owners. They are mentioned only to describe past work and do not imply endorsement. The Archivo typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.

07Links to other websites

The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and Credly. The owner is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

08Availability and liability

The site is provided “as is”. The owner aims to keep it accurate and available but does not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or free from harmful components, and may change or withdraw any part of it.

To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.

09Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Madrid, unless you are a consumer, in which case you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
